Kitchen Installation
In terms of the work carried out so far, Nathan is a skilled and capable carpenter. He also has no issues with installation of appliances. However his planning, communication and commitment to finish a job have been extremely poor. My kitchen has been in a state of “80% done” for over 12 weeks now, and this is 4.5 months since he first started the job. There was a lack of diligence in his ordering of the parts, so as that not everything arrived as required. He has had to order new parts which has contributed to the delay of the completion. He routinely confirms a day but then will not show up, only sometimes warning that he won’t be able to make it. He subsequently fails to arrive on the rescheduled days. This lack of commitment is most frustrating, especially when I’m working from home in the same room as he is doing the work in, as I have to manage my diary to work around the noise and disruption. His refusal to finish the work or even respond to messages means that I sadly can’t recommend Nathan, which is a shame as until 2 months ago this review would’ve been far better.
