Kitchen Renovation and Doorway Alterations
The service from Steve and the team at New Homes Yorkshire was excellent. Steve came out to provide a quote within days of contact. The team turned up on the days we agreed and completed the work when promised too. The finish work was to a great standard. Would definitely recommend
Widen Kitchen Window and Install New
I needed a wider window fitted in my kitchen with a raised window sill. Steve arranged for the removal of the existing window, widening of the window opening, and installation of a new lintel. A new window was then fitted and the opening was plastered internally and externally. I would highly recommend Steve and his team as they provided a brilliant service to a high quality finish at a reasonable price. He communicated clearly each step of the job and the associated costs, time frames and informed me in good time of any delays. The team were also extremely considerate and cleaned up after the job each time.
Remove Internal Wall and Install RSJ
We needed a wall and ceilings taking down and re plastering throughout with new lighting adding in preparation for a new extended kitchen. From quotation to completion the approach was efficient and the lads were professional. We are very happy with the end result and felt the work was done to a great standard.

Excavate Foundations and Underpin Party Wall
Steve completed the underpinning work for our foundations, and we were happy with the quality of that work. We also asked Steve to install three new drain traps. However, instead of fitting a trapped gully, he installed a gully without a trap on the party wall. Our neighbour did not approve of this arrangement. It took some time to get Steve to return and address the issue. He has since left a new trap next to the drain, it has not been fitted yet, and we are still unsure when he intends to return to complete the work. As a result, this has upset our neighbour. Due to the delays and the unresolved drainage issue, we have decided not to use Steve for any future work.
New Homes Yorkshire LTDAll my work was passss off bye Building Controll I quoted to put three gully in I put 3 gully in all working then customer decide he want different type putting there put it so I called the customer first to say I left another one and he need to build is new walls up Firsr and it’s 5 min job to replace did not need this kind off reponse too I retuerd to is job With in week off having telephone conversation with the owner so I am disappointed with him
Partition Wall and Plastering Work
Did a great job and with very friendly workers. Wall they built looks great, it's exactly what I asked for. They were also happy to do other little jobs I had around the house.i would definitely use them again
Create Openings in Load Bearing Wall
Great work by Steve and his team. We need 2 openings to be made in a load bearing wall. Steve visited the property to view the works and clearly explained how this would be carried out, then promptly gave us a quote. Only needed a weeks notice to before starting work, and came and did the job in a day. The works are to a professional standard and Steve and his team cleaned up any mess made. Brilliant service from start to finish.
Terraced House Ceiling & Loft Conversion
Steve and the team were great from start to finish with drop of upstairs ceilings for first half of loft conversion. Constant communication, no hidden costs and great workmanship. Would recommend and will be using for second phase of roof and dormer build.
Full Chimney Breast Removal
Steve and team were quick and efficient. Would recommend and use again.
Replace and Repair Windows & Brickwork
We recently had extensive renovation work carried out by New Homes Yorkshire LTD, and we’re extremely happy with the results. The job included: *Removal of two chimney breasts (ground and first floor), with floor joists repaired *Gallow brackets installed under the remaining chimney stacks *Two failing lintels replaced with steel lintels; surrounding brickwork repaired *Back door removed and bricked up *Back window converted to patio doors with a new steel lintel above *Full repointing of all rear brickwork – looks like new *Internal wall between kitchen and living room removed; RSJ fitted *All windows replaced with high-quality Linear argon-filled double glazing – fitted professionally and cleanly All the work was inspected by Building Control and passed first time with no issues. We’re very picky customers and asked a lot of questions throughout, but Steve Gale, the owner, was always patient, responsive, and happy to explain every step. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his team. The work was carried out exactly to our specifications, everything was done tidily with all waste removed, and it was completed in a reasonable timeframe. The quality was excellent, and the value for money was outstanding. We highly recommend New Homes Yorkshire and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Cut Wall for New Doorway
Steve came out to give a quote and the job was started a few days later. The workmen were polite, efficient and they did a good job from start to finish. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.
