We contracted My Driveways to lay paving driveway and patio area. The base was substandard, they have not dug down deep enough, there was no membrane laid and soakaways/drains put in.. Existing rubble was buried with dirt. They did not use the correct MOT. They caused damage to outside water pipe, gas pipe (causing gas leak taking 27 hours to rectify)., fence panel spurs disturbed. I requested they end works after 5 days and I would pay them what I owed minus repairs as in their contract. The manager of company became abusive, intimidating, videoing me and him whilst he was shouting at me and demanded full amount for works knowing incomplete. We received texts and phone calls demanding full amount, continuous harassment calls and in the end had to involve trading standards, the police and an independent surveyor. not recommend this company. It took all of this and request to take matter to the small claims for the manager to stop texting and making such calls. I would most definitely NOT recommend this company. I would recommend that thorough checks are done on this company before entering any agreement.

Cheapest quote got the cheapest result. No final invoice, no written guarantee. Issues will be resolved tomorrow which never comes.
