Painting and decorating a two bedroom house
Avoid. While filling in this review I realised this decorator trades under two names, invoice stated Sorin Contractors Ltd. Victor lulian Manea quoted for filling, sanding, two coats of paint on walls, ceilings and woodwork. the resulting job had neither two coats or in many places not even one. Called him back the resulting work was hardly any better with many places still without paint, despite these being pointed out. A second attempt to call back was met with aggression and threats. I agreed to pay a reduced amount on the promise that he returned for a third time. Having paid I have not seen or heard from anybody since. In fact I am quite relieved, I shall finish the job properly myself.
Internal Doors
Did an OK job, given the limited budget I had, but one of the handles had a loose fitting which I informed Victor about and he said he'd come back the next day to fix - but he never did return - despite several calls over the following week, to his number.
Internal Painting & Decorating
Victor and his colleague were excellent. They completed the job a day and a half earlier than expected. Very meticulous, went the extra mile. Can't recommend them enough
