At Mottaghan Reid, we design, manufacture and construct high quality timber buildings for residential, agricultural and equestrian use. With over 20 years’ experience, we pride ourselves on buildings that are beautifully crafted, durable and built to last.
We are a family‑based business focused on honest service, traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Every project is tailor-made, never mass produced, ensuring each structure enhances your property and meets your exact needs.
Unlike many in the industry who rely on lightweight panels, we build using traditional Post & Beam construction with heavy structural timbers such as Oak or Douglas Fir, combined with authentic mortise and tenon joinery. This creates strong, characterful buildings designed for longevity.
Each structure is manufactured individually, using sustainable timber sourced from responsibly managed forests, giving you a building that is environmentally conscious as well as exceptionally well made.
