Fit New Internal Doors with Locks
Mark was really professional throughout and detailed some difficulties he encountered of which he had not quoted for originally but was extremely polite and fair detailing these issues to me. Mark was a delight to have conduct work on my property and would highly recommend. I will be using again in future wherever needed.

Install Barn Door as Room Partition
Amateur carpenter, unfinished job, damaged the support brick wall, left very massive gaps when door was fixed, caused a scratch on door handle, fixed lock incorrectly making the key not to enter fully then blamed the lock, was very uncomfortable when I come to check work progress (wants me to stay away and not check work done at all but wants to be paid!) took 2 days over 10hours yet work wasn't completed! No would not recommend.
Mark JohnsonPlease ignore this review. As you can see from my other reviews this is not reflective of my work and instead is a rather vindictive post. The review was posted months after the work was done which shows this person is simply trying to cause problems. The work was almost complete. It just needed some final tweaks and plasterboard fitted to the studwork. Unfortunately, the customer was highly abusive amd rude throughout, refusing to even allow me to use the toilet or provide drinking water. This goes against health and safety law. I don't mind people checking the work and asking about progress, in fact I expect it, however she decided she would stand over me for long periods of time as I worked. I don't think many people would put up with those working conditions in their work place. I tried to make the best of it, but on principle I wasn't prepared to carry on working there. I think most people would have done the same. I reduced the price by over half, but evidently this wasn't good enough. It turns out the customer is a landlord engaged in dubious and perhaps illegal practices. She was in fact partitioning rooms in order to squeeze as many tennants into a small property as possible. She refused to listen to my advice on the kinds of materials and fixings to use to do the job properly as she wanted to cut corners and get it done as quickly as possible. She also refused to pay me by bank transfer or Stripe which I find extremely suspicious.
