Decking Removal and Installation
I was contacted for a quote and they came out the same day. No messing. Quickly realised I didn't need new decking or slabs as it was already block paved underneath the rotten decking. Agreed to remove and take away the old decking and jet wash the existing paving. Great job done the following day and saved me a fortune. Would defo recommend
Clear Overgrown Garden & Shed
17/12/2025: I posted the job and this trade (a man and a woman I would describe as a couple)was quick and turned up. They assessed the job and gave me a quote of £800 which was to clear the garden to the ground, fit a new corner fence and garden gate, remove shed, fix loose patios, weed drive and jet wash drive slabs. They stated they were available to start the job right away. They started the job and half an hour into the job they informed that they had school run and needed to leave. They requested £400 which I obliged and paid. 18/12/2025: I messaged at 7:40 to enquire when they will be coming. They responded that they would arrive at 10am. They messaged back at 10:25 to say their truck has broken down. they finally arrived at 12:31 and left at 14:18 (need to get back to kids). 19/12/2025: Trade messaged me that they wont be in till 12 due to doctors appointment. I was working so I dont know the exact time they went to the property. They left and called me while i was at work that they needed to speak with me face to face. I told them I was at work and would only be at the property to lock up after work at 5. They met me at 5 and told me they found rats in the garden etc and then wanted money off me, which i declined. 20/12/2025: They attended the property and instead of fitting a new fence and installing a new gate they brought a larger gate which I didn't mind. They fitted the gate but wanted to et away without fitting the lock I had purchased, I insisted and they did put it in very badly. They glued a 6ft fence with only two hinges to the wall and asked me not open for two for two days for the glue to settle. I had to rush back to work as I was on my break, they told me the work was done so I honoured their quote and paid the balance of £400. before I left i pointed out that some of patios had not been done and they said they will do. when i closed from work, I went to inspect the work, garden had not been cleared to the ground, left a metal drum in the garden and one on my drive, gate had come off the wall and I haven't had access since 20/12 , patios were still lose and still posing a risk to my children. 22/12/2025: I contacted them to make things right, they responded "i will try get out this week, I've gone to Manchester for a week" 02/01/2026: I contacted them again, in my exchange they said they dont work over the holidays and will come when they resume on 06/01/2026. 08/01/2026: as at writing this review they have made no effort to do so. I have complained to them but they had ignored my complains and I am taking them to small claims for 50% refund and subsequently report their business. Please avoid if you can as I doubt you will get value for money.
