I would avoid Matt at all costs. He has turned my life upside down the past 11 months with his lies and relentless let downs. He has provided me with fake invoices for the scaffolding I paid in full last July. The scaffolding is still up. The scaffolding company have knocked my door asking whats going on as they have not been paid. Matt has taken nearly 7k off me but has caused more damage in the lack of work he has done. He ripped the guttering down last August. Removed all of the window trims leaving all of the windows exposed causing damp and mould issues Ripped off the kitchen waste pipe leaving the patio area to flood every time any water waste leaves the pipe. He abandoned the job last September leaving all the windows tapped up and covered in wrap. The windows were only put in last June and they have been ruined with all the tape he has left on them. I had to remove all the blue wrap myself as he didnt show up again It was only meant to be on for a weekend. He has left me in an impossible situation as I cant afford to get the job done again and I don't have the funds to fix what he's damaged. Reported him to trading standards and the fraud department. Currently taking legal action against him.

Matt and his team have been amazing! From start to finish I have been kept updated on progress and finances. This turned into a far more complicated project than expected and Matt has adapted his work along the way which has been great to deal with. I would 100% recommend Matt for any works you need doing

He was very good plastering my ceilings and coving if i had more to do i would ring him first.

Matt is a competent plasterer and very personable but the job was delayed several times and I was left hanging with no communication. When he arrived it was with no cleaning equipment, no steps and very little surface protection. He used all my stuff without asking, left me days of cleaning work to do and has plastered over the upvc window frames. Two sockets have blown - completely melted - since he’s been here, the hall light switches dont click on and off, there are patches with no plaster at all or tape showing through on the walls, but there is a great deal all over the floors, doors, skirtings, light switches etc. he left last night because I asked him to. He had nothing to clean up the floors with except a scraper and a bit of sandpaper, despite assuring me he would never leave me with a mess. I had to chip set plaster out of the toilet this morning and completely clean out my hoover, cloths and brushes. The front door was repeatedly left wide open while he was here despite being asked risking the dogs running out onto the main road. Am upset at being so poorly treated.
