All invoices have been paid in full and up to date, yet the agreed works remain incomplete. Despite multiple attempts to make contact, I have been unable to reach the tradesperson for any updates or resolution. This lack of communication and failure to complete the job has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Lyons Carpentry Contractors LtdHi Michael, unfortunately we decided to not continue with the works due to the site being poorly ran, materials not ready when requested, doors were quoted to be installed into newly fitted linings, all linings were not plumb and hence doors needed shooting in, this shouldn’t have been the case on new linings You also asked us to keep returning to doors to take extra off, when the fire doors had leading edges and was within manufacturers tolerances, due to paint swelling the doors. We was paid the full amounts for the works carried out, and was not paid upfront for any works not carried out.

Rhys managed to fit me in at short notice, when he came to do the job he discussed throughly what was going to be completed and how. Nothing was to much trouble. Worked non-stop all day replacing not only the door but frames also. When the carpet was fitted a few days later he came back and trimmed the doors to suit. I can't recommend him enough! I have already had quotes to go forward with as he was very well priced and dependable.
