Solid Timber Flooring
The job was to lay an engineered wood floor through our new extension and existing kitchen, hall & downstairs cloakroom. There are quite a few tricky corner bits, with the house being a sixties home. The hall is quite small, with multiple dorways to negotiate, so lots of intricate cuts. The flooring, underlay and new skirting were free-issued to David. David was very polite and worked hard to do a good job. Though he is an electrician by trade but his passion obviously lies with wood, as his attention to detail was very good. He was also assisted by another chippy, who concentrated on the skirting, but did assist David where necessary. Overall, we are pleased with his work and I would recommend him to others to lay wood flooring. If his electrical work is pursued with a similar diligence, then this will also be of good quality.
