Remove Old Lawn and Re-Turf Area
Jimmy did a great job with my garden. It was in a poor state due to bad drainage etc and Jimmy was able to advise on the best and most cost effective solution to get the garden ready for summer. It was all dug up with fresh soil and turf laid. The garden now looks great and all done really efficiently and at a good price. Definitely recommend!

I strongly advise against hiring Lothian Projects. Jimmy initially turned up keen to quote and do the job. From coming round on a Sunday morning to initially see the job and then back through that week to measure up. Since then it’s gone down hill fast. I have invested time and its cost me money, in what I expected would be a lovely new garden space we could use but the experience has been extremely disappointing and no work has even taken place. Jimmy over-promised and failed to deliver. There were repeated changes to pricing and timescales, often without clear explanation, along with poor communication, contradictions and misleading information throughout. At times, it felt less like dealing with a professional landscape gardening business and more like dealing with someone incable of running one. I was looking for a reliable landscaping company—not to deal with ongoing issues, inconsistencies and excuses. After 6 week of hassle, he starts ignoring my calls and that’s when it come to the end. It has been a complete waste of my time and money. No landscaping actually took place so I can’t comment on his ability to landscape but his ability to run a business is a joke. I will not be recommending him to anyone!
Lothian ProjectsHi John, I see you’ve worded this to make it seem like I have taken money from you and not completed work. This is a lie; you did not spend any money, in fact you received many hours of my time consulting, designing and quoting for your garden at no charge. At no point were you booked in for work with me, and changes to pricing and estimated timescales were due to you adding requirements to the original quote, which naturally adds costs and time. Our discussions lasted 4 weeks, not 6, during which time we did not manage to confirm either the project scope or a payment schedule. Eventually I made the decision to step away from the project, as I felt we were not aligned on it. This decision also followed you calling me 7 times the previous evening, 4 of which after 8pm. As I said, I wish you well with the project and it’s unfortunate that it did not work out this time. Kind regards

Jimmy is a very nice young man, he did a good job of the garden and is very reliable when it comes to keeping in touch when he says he will. I would highly recommend him.
