Fix Leak Around Overflow Pipe
This trader came promptly and inspected the job for an estimate just before Christmas. We agreed to get the work done soon after Christmas and they worked through December 31st and January 1st, which was amazing! On inspection, after removing about 6 concrete tiles, it was shown that the waterproof felt under some roof tiles is was perished and needed replacing. In the end we had a scaffolding tower erected and over 180 tiles were removed and new battening and felting was fitted. So the guys did a good job but as the job was bigger than expected a revised estimate was accepted, which was a bit of a shock. But hey, I'm sure the roof will last longer for the extra maintenance.
