Install Dry Verge Kit Two Sides
I arranged for these two brothers to install a dry verge system on my mother's roof. The original quote was £775, but once the tiles were removed it became clear that several battens were rotten and some areas had insufficient battens from the original build. This meant additional materials and work were required, which increased the overall cost. As someone who is naturally cautious when dealing with tradespeople, I was initially sceptical about the rising price. However, the issues they found were shown and explained properly, and the work couldn't realistically be ignored once the roof had been opened up. They started on Saturday, returned on Sunday with the necessary materials and spent the entire day making sure the job was completed thoroughly rather than taking shortcuts. My mother is very happy with the finished result, and I appreciate the effort they put in to do the job properly and avoid future problems. Based on our experience, I would recommend them for their hard work and commitment to seeing the job through. I don't give top ratings lightly, but despite my initial concerns over additional costs once the roof was opened up, the issues were explained, the work was completed thoroughly, and my mother is very happy with the finished result. The two brothers worked hard to get the job done properly and I'd happily recommend them.
