Lino and Skirting Installation
The skirting has been done to a poor standard. Silicon used on the wall rather than caulk and far too much. It's thick and messy and peeling off 2 days later. He didn't mitre the corners but just butted them up together and coveres it in the mastic. The tradesperson left all the rubbish behind and took it upon himself to use one of my good quality kitchen cloths to clean up silicon and just hid it amongst rubbish in the garden. He used my garden broom to sweep the floor and not clearing it completely of all debris before n laying the lino, so it's lumpy. He used my new leather furniture to store tools etc on whilst he worked and left silicon on the chair. He has also taken it upon himself to upload pictures of my room on social media without my consent. I wish I could add some close up pictures of his work to this review. He also gave me a receipt for £34 extra for silicon but charged me an extra £50 on top of the quoted price. I will need to have all the silicon and skirting removed and be redone by a qualified professional tradesperson. Which I thought is what I was getting sadly
