DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN MONEY UP FRONT! Brian Jones attended my property on the Friday and gave me a verbal quote for the work which we agreed. As this was a small job he said he could complete it on the Monday. On the Saturday before he rang to say he had sourced some flags and needed a payment on account for materials. I sent my email address and he responded with the agreed quote, request for deposit and bank details. I paid the deposit and he acknowledged the payment. He failed to attend on Monday to do the work, I phoned and text him throughout the day but my contact was ignored. The next day I attempted to call again but was diverted straight to voicemail suggesting that my number has been set to ignore/block. In view of breach of contact and trust and lack of any reasonable explanation for no contact, I have reported to my bank (just so happens Mr. Jones banks with the same bank) and via Actionfraud.police.uk. This has also been reported to Quote my Job. I do not recommend Brian Jones.

They completed the job minus the latch for the new gate , always felt I had to point the fiddly bits out to them to ensure they were done .

I am very disappointed and angry with the work carried out by Brian Jones @ JSET ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION I HAVE COMPLAINED TO HIM OVER THE PHONE ADVISING That the decking construction is not safe and moves when walking on it, I have said that I am happy to pay for the materials, but not the work as it is unacceptable, he advised that he would come and inspect last night (31/04/26) but did not turn up, I have had no contact from him at all today, I did say that I would like an invoice for the materials and require a refund as the work is unacceptable, he replied with we do not give a refund!! He charged me £850 , he wanted the money upfront to purchase the materials. This company is and I would not recommend.
