Shed roof repair and panel replacement
We certainly will not be be recommending this tradesperson, quoted £850 for replacing felt on 2 shed roofs & replacing 2 panels. Rather taken aback when the single roof felt removed & replaced by 2 halves nailed down the middle. The replacement panels were of Inferior quality wood & incorrect smaller size panels fitted which means there is a gap at the bottom. Also had to have a new trim on one side of second shed Quoted another £50, when inspecting the completed work discovered that 2 lengths of old wood had been used, again incorrect size used. Photographs have been taken of this shoddy £900 overpriced work together with the off cut of second hand wood which was left on my front lawn which has been kept as evidence for future reference.
