Install Access Control on Fire Door
I never leave a bad review but feel I need to on this occasion. Come out and done the job said it would be 3-4 hours. Ended up taken double that which is fine no issues there. He didn’t take anything extra but in the end I had to finish the job myself. When they left the access control door system magnet was fitted wrong. The control box was hanging off the wall and the next day the door push button started to short as the wires were just wrapped around each other and were touching behind the push to exit button. Also didn’t fit the break glass to release door said it wasn’t compatible even tho it come with the kit. Because the door kept shorting and opening I had to call a security company who come out that night. Ripped the full thing out and rewired as he said the full thing was just a mess. He also fitted the break to release button and moved the magnet so the door closed fully. I then sent pictures over to Jmac elec showing the wiring and how it was left and the battery box hanging off the wall. I have since left it over a week and he has just ignored the messages so feel the only thing left is to leave a review. I had to pay twice which shouldn’t be the case when your getting a contractor off a website like this. Don’t get me wrong he’s a good guy and is probs a good electrician but wouldn’t get him out to fit a access control system.
