Started with a quote of £480 to re-chase the lead around my chimney, on the day work was due to be commenced. Was told that things were a lot worse than they looked and would need scaffolding plus some re felting agreed to a price of £3600 which involved about 8 hours labour. As agreed I paid with no complaints. But when chimney started leaking again after the first rainfall as I was given a 5 year Guarantee expected Work to be put right, but John refuses to respond to phone texts or emails. There is no company address Available Shocking way to treat an elderly couple, thanks John. Around the 20/02/2024 John made quite a big thing, that he was willing to pay quite a lot extra to keep the scaffolding up for another week to make right the work he had done ( didn’t mention he was going to use it to do a job on Nextdoor's roof ) Here we are 26/04/2024 he is not only refusing to reply to me in any way, I am stuck with scaffolding still erected against my house with no way of getting it removed.

Happy with the work, didn't have to wait long as he booked it in within a couple of days. Slightly more expensive than I would have wanted but still happy.
