I wouldn’t hire Jon again if you paid me. 2 rooms of painting and wallpaper was agreed at a week for completion. It has taken over a month and still not complete. We were given multiple excuses about not showing up at the last minute, and whenever he did, he asked for money to be sent in instalments. We have now paid him the majority of the money with the promise of returning to complete the rest, but still nothing. We had to hire someone else to complete the job. To add insult to injury, he also took the paint I bought for my daughter’s room and is still coming up with excuses not to return it.
JBI Property servicesI do appologise to Gemna for any upset I have caused. I carried out what i would say was 85% of the work and customer seemed very happy with what i had done to date. Unfortunately my health wasn't great while I was doing the work mentally and physically. And that did cause problems in the end I had to call time as my health wasnt improving. I have now returned the paint, what was left in the tin. And also refunded Gemma with a cash payment.

Bungalow Wallpaper Removal & Painting
Too many delays and such poor finish. Had 2 times the work reviewed and discussed snag works to be done. Both times snag works were incomplete, and had many left to be done as never met the completion time that I was given. I've discussed with the tradesman and he apologised, but the lack of communication by him was a major issue. No feedback on time on any of the issues he had, that he was aware but never said anything till I was pointing them out. It is unacceptable for a professional to just keep saying that he can do it, again and again, but not deliver. In the end I had to ask to stop and leave everything at the state he had, but to make sure that the doors are on, the carpets refitted and the sockets fixed on the wall, as I would repaint walls, ceiling and doors. He offered to come back, but not on the time I required, and as I was way back on schedule with all the things I had rescheduled due to delay, I could not accept his offer to come back for a 3rd attempt. I never complained that he got sick and lost 2-3 days, but I do mind lying about it in order to start another project, before completing mine. Snag works are not as easy or unimportant. I did pay what I said I would for the outstanding amount, which was more than he said I should deduct, as I do keep my word. That is on me though, as after I did find more issues on carpet not fitted properly and the doors re-fitting, had screws protruding the door case and the wall.. Such a poor result. Sadly there is no option here to upload photos to justify what I wrote in my review. So disappointed..
JBI Property servicesI was happy to complete any snags the customer had and was willing to return to complete any work that they are not happy with. When I took on the work, there was no time scale/ completion date given for the job. I rearranged another job to start this work as customer was in a rush to move in and wanted to help. The customer has tefused to let me finish, and resolve her isssues.

We chose this company because of its excellent reputation and its competitive pricing. Really glad we did. The quote was excellent and included everything we wanted. Our painter Jon was really lovely and extremely hard working and conscientious. He is able to turn his hand at most things so definitely a good person to know, who I am sure we will call upon on multiple occasions. We love the painting that has been completed and have plans to use phoenix for more rooms as well as our decking outside. He completed the job in the agreed timescale and It looks immaculate. You will not be disappointed.
