Turned up on time. Difficult to get anything in writing from him. Costs kept increasing. Eventually I sent a text for him to agree the final price, which he ok’d. Then as the job took longer, 3 days instead of 2, materials cost more , he tried to press me for more money. I showed him the text of what he agreed. He couldn’t argue with that. He used my carport and put screws into the roof beams without asking. He moved things around and did not reposition them. For both jobs he didn’t dispose of rubbish. I have his number and address should any issues arise. The quality of fencing and gates seems flimsy. I hope it is fit for the job and will last a reasonable amount of time, eg 10 years. In his favour he got the job done with his mate Tani. No trouble, didn’t need feeding or watering. Future customers - make sure you pin his costs down in writing.
