I have been running my own business for nearly twenty years. I'm a time-served plumber, but I've been making things from wood since I was eight-years-old (I'm now 52!).
I have numerous other skills which is why I call myself a 'Handyman' rather than 'Plumber'; carpentry, tiling, decorating, fencing, furniture making ... the only things I don't do are roofing, full wall plastering, electrical rewires, and gas work.
Currently building my own 'log cabin' from scratch, which is a good test of my skills.
My business has been voted as a 'Nextdoor' Fave too, and my client retention is high.
