Plasterboard And Skim 3-5 Rooms
Treeve was paid almost 3k to complete a full room plastering and stripping off cupboards and one wall of a small room. There are uneven surfaces in the way the overboarding was applied which will show later when paint is applied, no attention or care paid for sockets and the area behind skirting boards, the boarding around windows sticks out horribly and he said he would come back later to make it good by placing a UPVC sill for free (which he never did). He used a beautiful carpet as the damping ground for his plaster and then he refused to throw it away with the rest of waste, saying that it wasn't in the quote. For the other room, he used the bare wood flooring to throw plaster and dust and I had to scrape the floor for hours but I still did not manage to remove the plaster from the timber. To complete the whole audacious behaviour, he never mounted the door he had unmounted, he took it up in the loft and dumped it there (!) and left all the door frame hollow without making it good. When I called him for an explanation he said it was a small mistake and that it was the job of the decorator to fix those issues. I had to insist for him to come back, take down the door from the loft and mount back the door. Never again with this plasterer.
