Lay Concrete or Flagged Summer House Base
Really nice people, but unfortunately the slabs weren’t level and the sand cement was washing out from the underside, I had a neighbour make good, but because it’s not level the summerhouse rocks. Was promised some more sand and cement dropped off to complete the job but this didn’t happen, also promised info on electrics that’s also wasn’t supplied. In the interest of clarity, I was quoted 1300, but I managed to secure slabs from marketplace so the quote was amended to £1000, these were different depths on the slabs so I was charged £1300 to allow for extra labour. We were short a few slabs so I had to get that finished myself, and those are the only slabs that are level! I also had to get them all contained to stop the mixture from running out anymore than it had. This also cost extra money. I did mention all this to the owner and he said that some of it was because of run off,!5£3 run off was supposed to be back left, the 1” drops on the front right. It’s all such a shame they were really nice people, but I have paid £1700!in total for the slabs (including the make right someone else) and £6000 on a summerhouse that needs taking back down and the slabs relaying. £it was £1000 to have it constructed, so to take it down and rebuilt is going to be about £2000. All in all, not happy.

Level Concrete Kitchen Floor
Friendly, on time, come and give a quote, the day after first contacting him. Went through what he was going to do. Sent the quote the next day, a saturday . Texted a few times, had a reply within the hour. First class communication. Cleaned up after work done. Floor looks great. Will use again. Many thanks to Gary, and the lads.
