My name is Gregory Bailey and I specialise in general DIY, gardening and cleaning.
My skills as a handy person were developed while working for the Estates Team at the university where I studied Biochemistry.
Here managed a large area of the campus and was trained to be fast yet effective, have keen attention to detail and take pride in my work. My duties included general maintenance and repairs, saftey testing equipment, operating heavy machinery and ensuring the smooth running of the facilities that I managed.
My area included commercial, academic and domestic buildings each with their unique set if challenges and daily duties.
Responsibilities also included acting as auxiliary member of the cleaning team if they required support across the same areas. Duties ranged from general to heavy duty cleaning and commercial level decontamination of entire areas.
During my molecular medicine postgraduate degree my work in the team extended to managing the grounds of the University, which covered many different areas such as sports courts, manicured gardens, functional areas for barbecues and out door activities while also managing and maintaining the lake and its foundation at the centre of the campus.
