Director Mike Edwards has been a builder for over 40 years, since launching DIY Doctor he has become an advocate for honesty and transparency within construction, championing consumer rights against the cowboys. This means we approach every job we take on with a unique perspective and attitude.
There is very little that we have not seen, or in fact done, over the years which is why we are confident enough to offer you a lifetime guaranty on all the craftsmanship that we carry out. We never price work just to win the job, we tell you upfront what it is going to cost, highlighting any uncertainty or possible extras. No surprises!

Mike Edwards is the “patriarch” of the building company which is truly a family business, his wife, Philippa, works in the office and his nephew Tim works alongside him on the building work. In addition, we have a supportive and mentoring mentality that means that the team feel part of one happy family.
