Firstratefinshes are based in Dudley, West Midlands. We specialise in the domestic sector undertaking most of the common interior plastering disciplines such as, skimming, dabbing and plaster boarding, Over skimming and covering artex ceilings, small repairs and patch plastering including bonding and skimming/ making good, full re-skims and new projects.
No job is too big, small or awkward and we guarantee customer satisfaction every time.

I couldn’t be happier with the job my friend plastered over the artex in my living room. The transformation is amazing — the ceiling is now perfectly smooth and modern-looking. He was professional, tidy, and clearly knows his craft. The attention to detail was spot on, and he took real pride in his work. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for quality plastering done right!
