James Findlay takes great pride in his work and it shows. Very thorough and professional. Jim and his colleague were meticulous in checking the safety of the electrical work in our one-bedroom flat. I felt that they took as much care as they would for a much larger home. Because the circuit board was older and a couple of other things were not up to code, Jim gave us a number of options for how to proceed. I appreciate this courtesy, because it's always good to be able to have more economical choices and to understand what you are paying for. What I liked most of all was that everything was explained along the way, so although I'm afraid I didn't know most of the technical terms, I now understand a little more about fuses and safety. It's so clear that safety is uppermost in Jim's mind and that he prides himself in ensuring that everything is compliant and in tip top shape. Plus, Jim's an excellent communicator; expect prompt, swift, concise, polite messages at every stage. Highly recommend.

I ve put a job for the first time on this platform , i ve been contacted by 3 electricians , 2 of them quote me on rediquilous prices . When Jim called me i ve explained him the job , after that he explained me everything and he gave me the quote which it was a reazonable price .5 stars from me and defenetly call him if needed in future!

Jim was prompt to get in touch and offer a quote. We arranged a date for the work to be completed. Due to some unforseen circumstance I contacted Jim on the day to see if I could delay the job by a couple of hours. He was understanding and accommodated this. When he arrived the work was completed to a very high standard & it was reasonably priced .
