Martin quoted promptly and competitively. The work was exploratory at the outset (the extent of the work required was unclear, and became clearer as the job progressed). This meant the quote had to be evolved but Martin was transparent about this (exceptionally so) and the updated cost was fair and agreed easily. Martin conducted himself professionally at all times and the work is good quality; Martin is clearly experienced in his trade. I would very much recommend Martin to others. Something to note, in case it's important to you: the work didn't include the removal of waste (the replaced, rotting wood f.e.) so keep that in mind / speak to Martin in case that's a strong requirement of your work. But again: top work by Martin for a fair price, so no regrets
