Gas Safety Check for New Property
Ian communicated exactly what he was doing. I was unable to attend the property as I was working at the time so he offered to collect my keys, do tue job and bring keys back. I was initially apprensive about this as I didn't know him at all, and I expected him to push as you do with some tradesmen but he didn't and was happy to go with an alternative date suggested by me when I was going to be available. He did reassure me the reason he asked for keys is because he works with estate agents so this is normal practice for him. This assured me as I know this is normal practice. He also went above by providing his gas safe number so I could check his credentials myself which I did. After satisfying myself he wasn't going to upend my property and take it with him 🤣 I went with the original date and he was true to his word. Turned up on time, collected keys, went to do the job- he did a gas safety check and also serviced the boiler, and installed CO alarm, then went the extra mile and checked all the radiators were working by bleeding them. After all that, he took photos to come show me (I didn't request this as I didn't think but it was lovely to think he always jad the customer's interest at heart) and I had a view of what processes he'd gone through to do the job he'd said he'd do. And even rheou the boiler was not working initially when he turned it on (blockage due to not being used for a very long time) he sorted it and made sure the boiler was up and running again, and didn't charge any extra for that. I really appreciate hia service and have already booked him back in to do my residential boiler service. Will definitely be using him from now on. Definitely recommend.
