Replace Leaking Guttering on Two Properties
Left a mess, charged an extra £240 on top of the agreed quote and it’s leaking worse following his repair/replacement work, after less than 24 hours. He’s blocked my number and the number provided by my job quote also goes to voicemail.

Flat Roof Leak and Flashing Repair
This is a very unprofessional job. He came to do a quote at first with no ladder I would think a roofer requirement for equipment was a ladder at least. I thought it was a bit overpriced but went ahead anyways to put some tape down. But when he arrived to do the job he came back with no ladder, heat gun or extension cable just a bucket with the flashing tape. I should of told him I changed my mind I do not want him to do the job but I thought it would be rude I wish I had alarm bells where going off in my head. I asked him if he needed a heat gun which he did not have. Then he used my extension lead and heat gun to heat up the flashing tape. He was there for less than an hour. Thought that was quick. Didn't think to check it. Couple of days later it starts raining and it's leaking. Went up on the roof to look at it. He done a terrible job. He hadn't cleared the area to apply the flashing so he applied it on top of Moss and even a plastic bottle top which he couldn't be bothered to clean up. The flashing tape was not installed correctly according to manufacturers requirements. It was not heated up right up to the brick and was place on unclean area with moss and plastic bottles tops and anything that was in the way. Also, he said he would put sealant around the flashing tape which he did not do. I then phoned him up to complain and said that he has done a terrible job. He then accused me of being abusive just because I hurt his ego and said he didn't do a good job. He said he would get back to me next week. It has now been over 3 weeks and no sign of him or reply. I have since then been up on the roof and cleared the Moss away and reheated the flashing tape and applied sealant. There is now no leak so I'm not sure why professional couldn't do the job that I paid him £240 to do. There was nothing professional about him.
