Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
As I required roughcasting done at the same time David stated he could take on both jobs in te next week or so. David talked a good job and advised the drainpipes etc did not need replaced just rubbed down and painted. One of the down pipes was also blocked. I thought he would drill a hole to access and clear. It turned out it was a saw / cutting disc used and a ugly hole. The pipes were painted. David then stated would do the rough casting. He wanted payment at each stage, Scaffolding, materials then job completion. I did so. but stated wasn't happy with the standard of job carried out. David stated he would be back to sort this out. Also to give pipes a second coat as would have to be cleaned after the roughcasting. Then would clean up the mess and remove the rubble etc. (No tarps or covers were put down over the decorative slate and stones that will now have to be replaced.) Last payment was made of £600 on 4th of August. To date, no remedial work or mess clean up has taken place.
