Do not instruct this "builder"! We paid thousands of pounds upfront to Daniel. He was clueless with how to do any of the work he quoted us for and blamed it on who built our property ( which is Victorian and has been standing over 100 years ) He moved the dates for being finished 3 times, blaming this on his subcontractors and again our flat. The first delay being because he ordered the materials for the wrong month. The day before he was meant to be finished, he asked for half of the remaining balance, I said no as we hadn't seen any of the work completed and wanted to check it was done properly the next day, then pay in full. This isn't unreasonable, as it was only an extra 24 hours he would need to wait. The next day, he went into our property and damaged walls, all the materials we had paid for, and left us with an unfinished mess with no sign off on plumbing or electrician work that he had subcontracted. Along with this, he sent us a pathetic message claiming he doesn't think we can come up with the remaining funding so he has no choice but to leave the job. Then cowardly ignored us. Following this, we have had to pay over the odds for a plasterer, electrician and general builder to come and fix the terrible job he had attempted. All of who had to take the flat back to its bones to do the whole job again. The plasterer actually laughed at the attempt that he made. Please please nobody else make the same mistake as us, we told this "builder" that we had saved for years to buy our first flat and gave him every opportunity to do a good job, and he exploited our kindness.

D.O.C LtdHi Alexandra, The only payment that you had made was for materials only (all receipts provided) - no payment for labour was ever received. on failure to pay partially for labour as agreed I had no choice but to leave the job, due to this, doors where uninstalled etc - all of which was done on video without causing any damage to your property, will be more than happy to provide you with the videos/photos. I reiterate there was no damage to your property and no money was ever paid for labour, leaving me to pay subcontractors out of my own pocket and ultimately resulting in me working for weeks for free. I’m very disappointed with this.

Internal Doors
Daniel came and trimmed the doors at the bottom as they were dragging on the carpet, and also changed the locks. His pricing was very so competitive we asked him to quote for other things to be done in the property, so also built our cabinets and shelving for the alcoves in the living room. He was professional and communicative all the way throughout the process.
