Fabulous job, highly recommended

Mr Sean Carrington trading as Perfect Properties undertook the replacement of a low extension roof. This was commissioned after his attendance to quote for a repair to a leak in the roof . The job was necessary but work has been carried out shoddily and without care. It was not possible to fully inspect the finished work before he left owing to darkness but afterwards in daylight we could see loose ridging tiles and loose and broken tiles at the edges . Despite numerous calls and text messages to him and promises from him, to return to remedy the defects Mr Carrington has not appeared and has failed to respond to a written request that he does so.. I have now commissioned inspections by three other contractors and the findings identify substantial defects which will require the stripping of the two hip sides of the extension so that adequate battening can be added, to enable the securing of the tiles at the edges and the balancing of the height of the tiles between the sections of the roof. . The dry ridging membrane was left simply laid over the tiles – not stuck and will require replacement. Loose ridging tiles which are dangerous need to be properly balanced and fixed. . Many tiles require replacing - broken and exposing the waterproof felting . Proper replacement of the lead flashing which has been left loose and in a manner which allows water ingress. The remedies required will be costly.

This trader does false promise and does ignore the calls, unapproachable, un-responsible. There was a defect in his work what he recently did for me and when I tried contacting several times he ignored my calls (I tried several day), Ignored voice mail, ignored email, ignored text message. Finally, could contact his and he is not ready to listen and screamed at me and said lair and disconnected phone. Also he does not use any official later head for communication invoice or guarantee. Just sends his quote over email, invoice over email and claims 5 years guarantee over email text. His email name appears as '?who'. Not genuine at all. Avoid this trader.

He came out pretty quick to do the guttering although a bit dearer that what we expected due to adding more guttering but job done ok We also asked before he came out to do the gutters can he fit gates as well he agreed. However he turned up with wood, he had not measured up before he purchased the wood. It turned out the wood was not the right size. He said he was out of pocket and asked us to pay him £100 (the cost of the wood) he agreed he would take this as a deposit to come back with the correctly measured wood. He was chased by my husband and no answer he was chased again and said he would come out at the beginning of May but did not turn up. My husband asked him for the £100 back or the wood. No answer. I messaged for a receipt and confirmation for the deposit - he agreed but never sent. I contacted him to say I was putting a review on as he had not paid us our money back or turned up to do the job - he said what are you talking about. My husband text him one last time and guess what he ignored him. Do not use Sean he is unreliable and we are £100 down for his mistake not ours, we trusted him even though he should’ve measured up before buying the wood, steer clear!!

Very efficient job done and quickly

They came to sort out my fascia’s and soffits and said I needed a new roof. I agreed to new tiles on the roof and all new guttering. They completed 97% of the job but there are a number of tasks still outstanding and my Ariel is hanging off as it wasn’t attached securely enough. Despite numerous promises of them coming bAck to complete them they have not turned up despite having a Guarantee as well. I paid them thinking they would come back to finish my snags but they haven’t and my aerial needs sorting asap before it falls off. If you use them don’t pay in full till all snags are sorted.
