Replace old flood light
We had quotes done last week and settled on the price for the job to be done and then we had to pay for another switch to be put in for the flood light which cost us extra money we wasn’t expecting and because my husband was at work and I phoned him so the electrician could explain about the other switch to my husband he wouldn’t wait for my husband to give him the money on the evening I said I couldn’t walk down to tesco to the cash point to get it because I have a tumor on my lung and the electrician said I will take you to the cash point which he did to get the money to get the job finished but really he didn’t trust us because if he did he would of waited or come back for the money on the evening when my husband was home electrician told us we would get a certificate after the work was completed but know the electrician saying he can’t give us one I have another job to be done in my house which is going to be done in January I wouldn’t use this electrician again it has put me of using this site my job quote again and he also parked his van on my driveway and knocked my wall down asked him for insurance phone number wouldn’t give it said he was phoning them this electrician has a disgusting mouth when talking to customer and it’s a wonder people use him I have learnt the hard way never again!!!!! P.S I will give his work 5/5 it was very neat.
D.A.R.E.SFlabbergasted to be honest the job was to change a flood light on site I realised quickly the supply was taken from a socket that had been wired in 1.5 mm T&E cable a very poor and dangerous D.I.Y with the cable running to the light on the out side wall 3 meters un supported I explained an RCD is required and conduit for the cable all in all £200 which the client had agreed, whilst I was tidying up the client mentioned she did not have the money in full and would I mind dropping her to the cash point , I happily agreed. So a little confused to her response, Regarding a certificate it was not notifiable the circuit was already in service a certificate was not required. So what is this all about I parked the van on their drive as I got out of the van it rolled forward and the van tyre hit and damaged a two brick high wall I obviously apologised for the miss app and took responsibility and reassured the client I would sort it out I did not bother with the van insurance as I did not believe the policy would cover it I felt I would go through my public liability/policy I had called them the next day and waited a long time to get through to no avail but eventually I was given an option to leave my details for some one to contact me. So I took this option. Shortly after, the clients husband phoned and said he had a quote for £600 to fix the wall and I should call the builder to arrange the works i informed him I’m waiting to speak with my insurance as I don’t think the dozen bricks to be replaced would cost such a high price. But to reassure him a said I would give his builder a courtesy call 1 hr later he called me back with an obnoxious attitude calling me a bullshitting Cxxt because I had not given him my insurance details simply because I was waiting to speak to them it was they that had a trust issue it had not been 24 hrs this then followed by both of them ranting down the phone. I told them I will sort the repair but please do not call me back. I spoke then immediately to their builder who once reviewed the damage from some photos I had sent him he agreed to do the work for £400.00 which I agreed the work was completed the very next day . So I won’t wait for an apology for the offensive verbal abuse I received, I won’t wait for a thank you for repairing the wall so quickly but thank you for mentioning my work was to a good standard. After all the accident had nothing to do with the work that was carried out.

We found ourselves with a massive problem at short notice and Dave from D.A.R.E.S responded straight away, assessed the problem and went above and beyond to get everything sorted for us, couldn't have asked for more and would certainly recommend D.A.R.E.S for any electrical jobs, large or small. 100% reliable
