Trim Fruit Trees and Bushes
Although Danny was a personable young man, he failed to check that his vehicle needed a new tyre the night before and notified me that he was running late. He told me over the phone that it was a two person job but arrived on his own. He didn’t take notice of the written instructions or what we discussed over the phone. Hence he had to borrow my hedge trimmer, lead extension and my neighbour’s tool’s because he didn’t bring his own. He also got side tracked into discussing scooters with my neighbour and I had to remind him to get on with the job he was being paid for. However he helped me clear up the off cuts and load up my car for me to dispose of the waste at the local recycling centre. Danny’s a likeable person but needs to be more professional in his work if he wants to make a go of the business.
DannythomasThank you for this review I found it very constructive. Sometimes things do not go as smoothly as I would like. People don’t turn up when they are supposed to and issues with vehicles do happen. As it only stated on the job tittle “trim 9 fruit trees” and the phone call we had was a couple of days prior I had let slip about the hedges. Thank you for letting me borrow your hedge cutter so I could do the work. Although I could have come back with my tools at a later date if it was an issue. Please bare In mind that I price all of my work by the job and not by the hour so I’m more than happy to talk to someone for two minutes while at the job site. Also, after loading up this customers car with all the trimmings so she could take it to the dump instead of me taking it away for an additional fee, she stated “Thank you I’m very pleased with this service”. If the customer was not happy with anything or thought I was not doing my job correctly I wish she would have aired these concerns while I was there so I could have come to a compromise with her.

Fence panel installation
Wrong fence panel bought. Did not measure before hand. Put in back to front ! Nice side on outside of garden facing car park. By wedging it in it push my concrete post out of line, it was slightly off but now I can’t shut gate ! But he could fix that for another £150 ! Had to pay into personal account not business account ?! Yes I just wanted a panel put in but I also wanted my gate to shut !
Flat roof and bathroom ceiling repair
Danny was responsive, friendly to deal with, did the job for good price and did good work. Cannot get better than that!
