David whilst started well did not finish well. As the job progressed if became apparent his capabilities were overstated. We agreed a m2 rate for the job and anything outside of the agreed scope was agreed on day rate, ie making good existing carpet, cutting in around new floorbox positions. We paid his first bill promptly and in full, we issued a payless notice on his second invocie for the following reasons: A few points: He did not read the drawings provided on site and laid 60m2 of vinyl floor the wrong way. He made an utter mess of the screed on the staircases and we had waterfalls of screed to clear up on the carpet. He didnt not know how to remove floorboxes and cut in carpet tiles around them He did not return to complete day works required to finish the job before our clients practical completion. He did not answer phone calls or message during the latter stage of the project. We had no option but to hire another trade to complete his work and clear up the mess he left. When we issued a payless notice for the day works part of the job to cover the cost of the clear up and hiring someone else to finish the job. He became very abusive and threatening and has been reported to the police. I would advise anyone steer well clear of this individual and hire someone else.

Lay Herringbone Laminate Flooring Room
Outstanding workmanship from David, we are so pleased with our completed LVT flooring throughout our living room. 100% commitment until job completed. David communicated from the start about different products available also discussed aftercare when flooring was layed. The next day David contacted us to see if we had any problems, which we didn't. I would recommend David to anyone . April 2026 Lynn and Chris ( Stockton).

Install Herringbone Laminate Flooring Two Rooms
Did ~40m2 between two rooms - explained costs and never asked for more money. Helped moving furniture. Just got on and did a very nice job.
