Laminate Flooring
Firstly, the good: Matt did an initially good job laying the laminate. However, he had to return to finish laying the last bit of floor and fit the threshold strips. When he did, he fitted 4 different threshold strips of totally contrasting styles. One of the strips was cut and fudged together, looking like an amateur has attempted it. The other strips appeared like he balanced them in place and filled them with sealant. Some had sealant splaying out of the corners onto our hard floor. There are a number gaps between the laminate and threshold strips and he has also scratched our wall presumably by leaning his equipment against it. I am furious as to the low standard of work, and the fact that he has taken the money and left, not returning calls. I am terrible at DIY, hence asking a professional to do it. Instead, i get someone that did the same quality of job i could do. We are now left with finding someone we can trust to correct the work he's done and repaint the wall that he has scratched and chipped. Do not use - you have been warned.
