Unfortunately Craig has a terrible habit of making false promises and consistently lying. I would not recommend working with him unless you want your money stolen like I have. I am a new homeowner and this is the first time my partner and I have ever requested any work for our new home and sadly Craig has made it an awful experience which has caused us so much unnecessary stress and pain. We welcomed Craig into our home to quote for painting our hallway and one spare room. A simple job for someone with supposedly 37 years of experience as a painter/decorator. Craig was very charming and gave us a very competitive quote for the work and requested a deposit to be paid up-front to book the work in. The following morning after reviewing the reviews left on this website I contacted Craig to arrange a date for work to start with Craig himself even suggesting he could get started on the upcoming weekend. He was insistent on the deposit being paid before he could agree to the work so, in good faith, I duely obliged with payment of the deposit and we agreed a date for him to start work. On 4 separate occasions, Craig has failed to turn up to start work despite agreeing too and committing to new dates on all 4 occasions. Craig's list of excuses include "Family Emergencies" and "Having to complete other jobs". I believe these now to all be lies and Craig's only intention was to take my deposit and never start any work. Both my partner and I, have since contacted Craig on 4 separate occasions requesting the refund of my deposit - A reasonable request given no work has taken place. Each time, we were fair, understanding and reasonable with Craig even stating how understanding we have been given his excuses. Despite this, Craig failed to return our money despite assuring me that he would do it "ASAP". To date, no money has been refunded to us. No work has been completed. And Craig refuses to take my calls and keeps lying to me about returning my money. Despite numerous attempts to recover my money and a final warning being issued , Craig has still not returned a single penny to me and still talks about returning my money "at the end of the day" to no avail. Unfortunately, trying to be fair and understanding with Craig simply does not work and I have lost all patience with him. The matter has now been escalated but I thought it would only be fair to share my experience of dealing with Craig to fellow users on this website just in case they are considering him for any work they need doing. Unfortunately Craig is a liar and too many false promises mean that he simply cannot be trusted. I would 100% not recommend working with him as he has stolen my money with no intention of returning it.

Craig painted my mum's bungalow. Did a great job and my mum really appreciated his advice and gentle nature.

Absolutely lovely guy. Craig fitted me in because I needed an urgent job due to a house sale. Craig and Mark arrived exactly when they said they would, the finished look of my exterior wall was perfect, looked brand new and brought the house back to looking great. Craig and Mark are perfect gentlemen and lovely guys! I would recommend them to anybody who needs any painting or decorating done. In fact I would say go nowhere else. Prices are fair and there is absolutely no need to worry about giving them your business. Genuine and professional through and through! Thank you Craig and Mark! His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made the entire experience a breeze. The finished product is absolutely stunning. I do not recommend working with Craig—complete waste of time. He agreed to take on the job but kept postponing his visit for several weeks. Eventually, he showed up, started the work, and suddenly left without a word. When I called him to ask what was going on, he said he had a family emergency and would be back in an hour, but he never returned. The next day, he messaged saying he would come the following day, but he kept postponing again and again. A month has passed, and he still hasn't come back. He doesn't answer his phone or respond to messages. I think he was overwhelmed by the task of installing 3D wallpaper and lacked the necessary skills. However, my biggest issue is with his customer service. Because the wallpaper wasn't finished, I couldn’t rent out my property, which cost me several thousand pounds due to vacancy. If he had just been honest and said he couldn’t do the job, I would have hired someone else. Instead, he strung me along with false promises. Highly unprofessional—definitely do not recommend.
