About
Coastal Roofing Solutions is a local roofer based at 10 Piltdown Road, Brighton BN2 5LE, run by Patrick Ross as a sole trader. Established 2008 and fully insured (public liability). We work on homes and small commercial properties across Brighton, Hove and Sussex.
What we do:
- Roof repairs: leaks, slipped or broken tiles and slates, ridge and verge repairs, storm damage
- Re-roofs: slate and tile, including strip, underlay, battens and finish
- Flat roofs: extensions, garages and dormers
- Roof cleaning and moss removal: hot water jet wash, fungicide clean, then a water seal coat
- Chimneys and leadwork: repointing, flaunching, lead flashings
- Fascias, soffits and guttering
- Drone roof inspections
Brighton's housing is varied, from Regency and Victorian terraces with slate roofs and hidden valley gutters, to 1930s semis, bungalows and chalet bungalows along the coast. Salt air and wind are hard on roofs, so slipped slates, failed valleys, loose ridges and blocked gutters are what we fix most.
How we work: Patrick looks at the roof before pricing and gives a written quote for the actual job, not a guess over the phone. We photograph faults before anything is covered up, so you can see what was found and what was fixed.
