CCTV Drain Survey for Home
I hired Clearways Environmental Ltd in Aug 2025 for a CCTV drain survey ahead of conservatory works in St Mary’s Bay. Ben surveyed both the foul and surface-water lines, provided clear videos/photos and a structured report. He accurately identified the key issue by the conservatory — the rear surface-water line is packed with grit/stones and impassable — and noted a missing hopper/gully on the downpipe plus minor chamber defects (grease deposits, cracked lid/missing bolts). This was the information I needed. Delivery was a couple of days later than the agreed date and I had to chase a few times; Ben apologised and applied a £20 discount. The report could be tighter (schematic rather than to-scale plan; chamber dimensions not included). Overall, competent technical work and decent value, but communication and timeliness need improvement.
