Was very good, we were on abit of a time limit and he came in earlier to get the job done. He was very knowledgeable and well skilled.

We arranged for Geoff Beadle to come and fit 3 internal doors. His communication over this process was good as was his price quoted - £160 to fit 3 doors. He arrived on the morning arranged and got to work, removing 2 of the old doors and fitting hinges to one of the new ones. However, after a while, he started to receive phone calls and I overheard him say, "...well, check the radiators..." Soon after, he came to me to say he had to go out and get a drill bit. Once he had gone I went out to see how he'd been getting on only to find he had taken all of his tools. He had also left two of the new doors (expensive pre-finished oak veneer) out in the rain - this was the weekend of Storm Brian. After an hour and a half he hadn't returned and so I phoned him to find out what was going on but it went straight to answer-phone. I left a message asking him to get in touch but to date, I have not had a reply from him. On getting the doors in from the rain they have been marked down their long edge where he had been resting them on the patio with no protection. The new hinges have been spaced wrongly so new rebates will have to be cut into the door frame. It's probably just as well he hasn't completed the job. He'd probably have made a mess of the other two doors. So it would appear he has walked off one job to go and do another. How a 'professional' tradesman can do this, with no explanation but a lie about going to get drill bits is beyond me. So, avoid Geoff Beadle of GB Homecare at all costs.
