NEVER TRUST THIS PERSON HE TOOK MY MONEY AND LEFT THE JOB UNFINISHED AND NEVER TURNED UP AND NOT ANSWERING CALLS FOR DAYS!! I AM PURSUING WITH THE COURT NOW. My experience with Byfield Electrical Services was extremely disappointing. Before I agreed to the work, I specifically asked whether the entire job could be completed in one day because I needed to hire an expensive scissor lift. I have WhatsApp messages where I asked this question, and I was told that the works were "doable in a day." Based on that assurance, I booked and paid for the scissor lift. Before attending, I paid a £300 deposit so the required materials could be purchased. However, when the electrician arrived, he did not have the majority of the materials and had even brought the wrong consumer unit. I ended up having to buy materials myself to keep the job moving. During the day, he left the site to get more materials and was away for around three hours. I repeatedly called and messaged him while he was away but received no response. When he eventually returned, only part of the work had been completed. I was then told he was tired and wanted to leave early, despite previously telling me he would work until the evening if necessary to complete the job. He promised to return the following morning, so I extended the hire of the scissor lift and relied on that promise. The following morning he did not return. Over the next several days I made numerous phone calls and sent multiple WhatsApp messages trying to arrange completion of the work, but most of my calls were ignored. Eventually, he sent me a message stating: "I will not be coming back to finish works." He also told me to find another electrician. I requested the return of my £300 deposit, but it was not refunded. The electrical installation remains incomplete and I have since been advised by other electricians that further work will be required before the installation can be completed and certified. Because of this experience, I lost the cost of the scissor lift, lost my deposit, wasted a significant amount of time, and have had to start legal proceedings to recover my losses. This review reflects my own experience with this company and is supported by the WhatsApp messages, payment records and other evidence I hold.

All job done , however, finishing around spotlights could have been done better. i had to redo the job. Still waiting for electrical certificate for spotlights job.
