have 13 years experience as a plumber, completed a time served apprenticeship and I am fully qualified.
Work is carried out to industry standards to comply with the water regulations using WRAS approved materials.
Hourly rate £60
We offer a call out inspection / survey / report for a set £60 to be deducted from any work completed.
We would generally look to agree with our customers that if the work is a simple repair that can be carried out on the first visit (within 1 hour) we would carry out the job up to a value of £150 total including labour and materials. This is not a requirement and the figure may vary but it simplifies the process requiring less visits and speeds things up.
Examples of this may be replacing a Kitchen sink mixer tap £140 including the inspection materials and Labour. If we are not given the work the survey fee of £60 remains payable.
Obviously this covers a standard trade rated tap, if the customer wants a £180 Franke Tap that needs to be ordered, collected and fitted on a further visit the price would be different.
A bath/whb waste/trap would be £80 including the inspection, if the work is not completed the £60 remains payable.
A wc cistern overhaul / repair including syphon / fill valve / seal etc would range between £80-150 depending on the work required, this does not include replacement of the cistern itself.
Repairs such as leaks that require isolation and or drain down of the full plumbing installation will depend on the complexity of the job and that would be specific to each site.
We are happy to provide photos and report details of work completed or estimate cost for future authorisation in the inspection /survey report.
