Repair Shaking Front Yard Pillar
I can’t praise B L Construction enough. I can HIGHLY recommend going to this company, as not only do they do their job to perfection, they the went above and beyond to explain what needed to be done. When the Pillar was taken down, it was explained to me that what I wanted doing was not possible because of the poor construction of the original wall and pillar, ie the original base only was double and then all ensuing brick work was single bricked, the pillar was not interlocked with the wall itself. The very kindly explained that because of the poor construction they would rebuild the pillar, but instead of single pinning they would DOUBLE pin the pillar from bottom to top to make the pillar more secure, in addition they used extra cement powder to make the set much more durable (my interpretation and understanding they told me, sorry guys if I got it wrong). I had a very friendly and pleasant experience with these guys, I am so happy at how they approach the task at hand, they were very prompt, on arrival they went above and beyond what was needed. Billy and his partner was fantastic in securing my wobbly pillar, before they left they did a wonderful job in cleaning up, they left my patio cleaner than when they arrived. Guys I can’t thank you both enough.
