Remove And Replace Old Lawn Turf
As a result of being let down by a landscape company who arrived to put down a new lawn for me on the Wednesday only not to have a rotovater, I had to find another company urgently so as not to lose all my turf. Fortunately Brian at Birch & Son very kindly took on the job on the Thursday at very short notice with his assistant. Unfortunately their rotovater burnt out half way and was a very physical job for them having to manually prepare the ground. They raked in new soil and laid the lawn that day. They were very helpful and hardworking. Though the lawn survived and is looking healthy Unfortunately I find it quite uneven with some dead areas where there is gaping between the turfs. It was only afterwards that I realised they didnt use a roller to flatten the soil before laying. Im not sure stamping the soil alone is sufficient prior to laying. So I would recommend them but make sure they have a back up plan if rotovater packs up and make sure they plan to flatten soil with a roller prior to turf laying! Unfortunately, now I have to get another gardener to level the lawn, so more cost.

Regular Lawn Mowing and Strimming Service
Brian and Alex quoted and completed tree work and lawns in amazing time and we had excellent value. All work done, cleaned up, and would highly recommend them. Absolutely would recommend them for all aspects of property maintenance. Very fair price, hard workers. Thank you both so much, truly appreciate you both.

Weeding and Garden Waste Removal
A huge thank you to Brian and his team for their fantastic work. They were friendly, hardworking and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They removed all the weeds, cleared away the old garden waste and carefully listened to everything we asked for. Brian was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. The garden looks so much better now, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional gardeners.
