Assemble Large BillyOh Pent Shed
Paid deposit . Turned up on day, then walked off site without talking to me and sent e mail saying he wanted twice the agreed amount. I have asked for deposit back , but not received and no further communications.
Fix Shelves and Replace Kitchen Tap
Completed part of the job and not all as originally quoted. Causing more expenditure for myself. Otherwise job completed was ok, but would have use better anchors than screws for shelves.
Modify Countertop And Remove Cabinet Wall
The carpenter, Alex, that came to do the job in my kitchen, damaged my countertop when removing my sink. After the work had finished, he didn’t clean the mess up properly, e.g. sand papering the exposed wood surface or cleaning up the saw dust left from cutting the wooden area, and tried to leave without showing me the work he had done. When I asked for him to come back to repair the damage to avoid me having to pay getting it fixed on the outer area, he refused and sent a me a rude message regarding it, telling me my plumber can do it even though that’s not what a plumber’s profession is. Overall, the work done was rushed and could’ve been preventable had Alex had removed the sink with proper tools. Not impressed with his attitude and how he handled removing my sink.
AJR Interiors and Carpentry. Dear Andrew, We do not believe this complaint is correct. The removal of the existing sink was not included within the original quotation, as you had advised that this would be removed beforehand. When I arrived, we discussed that the sink had been heavily sealed in with silicone and would need to be broken out in order for the works to continue. You confirmed that you were happy for me to proceed. Regarding the worktop, the new sink was being fitted into the same location as the previous one, alongside the additional cut made to suit the new sink. This meant the previous sink position and any surrounding marks would be fully covered. Had sanding been required or visible after installation, I would of course have completed this. With regards to the mess, I do apologise for any sawdust left behind. The kitchen was already in a very unclean condition with pots and pans and cups piled high when I arrived, and I was working around this while trying to complete the job as efficiently as possible. I would also appreciate being addressed by my correct name, particularly as I attended in good faith and completed the agreed works.as you are aware you called me thee wrong name multiple times. Despite not agreeing that the complaint is justified, we have issued a refund as a gesture of goodwill. Please allow 5–10 working days for this to be processed.
