Adam was the first to get in touch regarding our urgent door repair. Quick to attend our site and provided a great service at a good price! Would definitely use again.

Expensive custom made door damaged in process of being fitted. Hinges not as requested, not strong enough, bending and creaking under stress when doors opened. Catches to close do not work or make contact. No stop fitted to prevent doors from pushing inwards. Hinges stick out proud of doors. Unnecessary holes drilled. Mess left all over floor in spite of dust sheets being provided. Large pencil marks being left all over white doors. An appallingly, unskilled job done that now needs a professional to come and make it good. When this was explained to Mr Nichols he became very abusive and unpleasant. When booking the job I had asked him to come and assess the job first so he would know what hinges etc to fit .. but he refused to do this. I specifically asked for silver coloured hinges to match the door handles but he fitted wholly inadequate brass ones regardless even though they are nowhere near strong enough for the heavy weight of these custom made doors. The cost of the one door Mr Nichols left marked and damaged right on the front is £125. Furious and disappointed. As a woman living alone I do not want this unpleasant man back in my home.
Adam NicholsThe customer had previously unpacked one door, & left in corridor. I pointed out scuff marks immediately. Brass hinges,the only colour available to match existing, do protrude from edge of door, as do all hinges of this type. I offered to vaccum work area, but customer declined as she was cleaning bedroom herself.I asked customer to examine completed works to ensure her satisfaction, this she did & had no issues. The customer doesn't live alone, & it was her husband that I spoke to later. He said he would send photos & text, to allow any necessary rectification. I received no communication, or any response to resolve this dispute

Very impressd with the work Adam did. Even knocked a bit of money off because he finished sooner than expected very happy will definetly use him again
