Roof and Gutter Replacement
We hired this company for a reroof and chimney removal. In terms of workmanship, we have no concerns. The quality of the finished roof appears good and the work was signed off by Building Control without any problems. The site was kept tidy during the works, waste was removed daily, and the area was left in a reasonable condition at the end of each day. We also appreciated that no payment was required upfront. Aaron, the owner, was communicative and personally tidied our plant beds at the end of the project. Unfortunately, the main difficulties were around timeframes and follow-through. The job was sold to us as a four-day project starting at the beginning of January, however the start was delayed by around two and a half weeks and scaffolding has now been on site for around a month. Once the project began, attendance was inconsistent and we were given several assurances about completion dates, including working over a weekend to finish, which did not happen. The main works were completed on a Friday, with a small number of follow-up items outstanding. One minor issue was resolved shortly afterwards, however delays in closing out the remaining details have contributed to further issues, including scaffolding still being left on site currently. We have also received repeated assurances about returning an item taken from site, which have not yet been followed through. Communication is generally quick, but promises and timelines were not consistently met, which made the project more stressful and drawn-out than expected. Overall, good quality work once completed, but reliability and scheduling would need to improve for us to fully recommend.

Following completion of the down pipe job which completed in good time and satisfactory I arranged some further work re doing my ridge tiles the whole operation was interrupted by rain . The work was of a high standard they cleared up well after completion well done. F green

Great bunch of lads! Re-slated the front of our home replaced 3 velux windows. Work was carried out straight away They cracked on through the freezing conditions and snow to get us finished as quickly as possible over the new year period. Couldn’t be happier, thanks to the lads at A&E Roofing
