Bathroom and Kitchen Interior Renovation
I am sharing my experience with AD Building Solutions (Andrew and his wife Cheryl) regarding a renovation. Written contract for renovation was £11,000. I paid £2,000 deposit. I was then aggressively asked for an additional £950, with the explanation that mould had been discovered behind the kitchen cabinets once the kitchen had been stripped and that remedial treatment was required, increasing the overall cost. A week later, I was requested to pay a further £2,500, stated to be for the disposal of the kitchen, which I was told had already been stripped. Before making any further payments, I arranged a site visit but Andrew and Cheryl did not show up. I observed that no work had been carried out. The kitchen had not been stripped, and there was no evidence of demolition, disposal, or any preparatory work. There was also no indication that materials had been ordered or that the project had started. Huge discrepancy between what was communicated and the actual condition of the property at the time of inspection. Claims that the kitchen had been stripped, that materials had been ordered, and that work had progressed were false. A D building solutionHi im responding to this review as the customer did not want want to pay for damp behind the kitchen as this was additional cost and didn’t want to pay I couldn’t see the damp upon pricing as it was behind the Kitchen only when we pulled out the washing machine was when we found it there was damp on the adjacent wall that could be seen The customer decided she didn’t want the work done and revived the full refund as I had to take all materials back please evidence of this also please texts saying she didn’t want to pay for damp The customer stated (text ) please see for evidence as she did not want to pay additional costs and also she would be happy to revive refund which she did The review itself is very damaging to my business and cannot move forward with this the customer got every penny back please take into account with all my evidence and please remove this comment I’ve been a loyal trade man for many years and spent allot of money and always had good reviews this 1 does not reflect on my business thank you

Came when said he would come. Honest trust worthy looked at what needed doing explained things clearly. Got bits equipment needed then came back complete job come back do rest of stuff needs doing

Andrew has been great. Turned up when he said he would. The work he’s done has been spot on. He’s helped me with a few things and I’ve asked him to do some other jobs for me. I’d highly recommend him

Andrew was brilliant from start to finish. Completed job of renewing roof ridge tiles, replaced a lot of roof tiles and pointed around chimney. Very pleased with quality of the work. Gave very competetive quote and kept the costs down. Would definitely recommend Andrew , he gave me a receipt and guarantee.
