I hired Markus to change the position of a ligh switch. He was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. He completed the job with good standards so I can happily recommend him to anyone needing a similar job done.
Replace Thermostat with Hive Model
Arrived 5 hours late Fitted the thermostat completely incorrectly in 20 mins. After ignoring calls and texts I called from another phone. He agreed to come back that Saturday. Didn’t, show up, call, or text. Finally agreed to return following Saturday. Didn’t show up, call or message. I requested a refund and since then no refund, not replying to texts or calls. The very worst customer service I have EVER experienced.

Replace/Repair Dimmer & Fan Switch
Agreed a price to attend, check dimmer switch and place bathroom fan on separate switch as I was aware new dimmers and fans don't mix. Guy claiming to be called 'Marcus' attended, identified an incorrect wired connection then said the existing dimmer connection would be fine operating the fan and lights. He left without testing. No soon as he'd departed with the 'cash' we'd agreed (no invoice or card left) I checked and the fan's speed varied according to the dimmer setting (an identified fire risk as confirmed by the fan manufacturer.) 'Marcus' said he'd return to make safe and install that we'd originally agreed. He thereafter took great pleasure in stringing me along promising to return on 4 occasions without ever the intention of so doing. Excuse upon excuse when. When checked, the standard of wiring he'd reconfigured in the 10 minutes on site was shocking with an exposed live wire showing. He ripped me off and left me with a fire hazard. Don't let him do the same to you.
